I’m a Food & Lifestyle Photographer based in Limburg, specialising in natural light and story-driven photography for brands and families.

I’m drawn to finding beauty through my camera - capturing emotions, meaningful connections, and the quiet details that often go unnoticed. My work is about telling stories through images and preserving moments that can be felt and remembered over time. I’m especially inspired by people’s passion and the care they bring to what they create.

Photography has been a long-standing passion of mine, but I began pursuing it more seriously in 2015 when I founded my blog 1001 Voyages Gourmands. What started as a way to share recipes and document my travel writing, gradually evolved into a deeper exploration of storytelling - leading me into food photography, and later into weddings and brand-focused work. And so in 2022, I founded Michaela Dörflerová Photography.

Before settling in Limburg, I lived in Brussels for nearly ten years. Originally, I’m from the Czech Republic, just outside Prague, a place I still return to often and feel deeply connected to. I’m also a mother of two, and my personal life has naturally shaped the way I see and capture moments - with more attention to connection, emotion, and authenticity.

Today, my work brings together these experiences - blending personal and professional storytelling into imagery that feels natural, timeless, and true.
